The fan-favorite Air Jordan 5 “Green Bean” returns for the first time since 2006. Dressed in a Silver, Green Bean and Flint Grey color scheme. This Air Jordan 5 looks exactly like the original, with a silver base covered in 3M reflective material. The Jordan 5 “Green Bean” shoe’s grey synthetic upper has a reflective finish and is said to be inspired by Tinker Hatfield’s original Jordan 5 sketches. According to rumors, Hatfield tried to design a fully reflective upper for the Air Jordan 5, but ultimately abandoned the idea before the shoe was produced in 1990. As for the rest of the modern “green bean” design, bright neon green accents the upper. Lining, shark tooth detail on midsole, silver reflective tongue and embroidered Jumpman on heel.
