Paying homage to Michael Jordan’s first ever Sports Illustrated cover as a member of the Chicago Bulls, the Swoosh on the Jordan 1 Retro High OG A Star Is Born features a gradient colour scheme that harkens back to the retro Milwaukee Bucks uniform that MJ was evading on the cover. Black and white panelling as well as ‘Varsity Red’ embroidery feature throughout, and to complete the design, the iconic ball and wings logo comes emblazoned into the ankle collar. The latter team’s vintage uniform is reflected in the shoe’s color scheme, with a white and black leather build highlighted by an embroidered Swoosh that’s finished in varying shades of green and white.
