The original Air Jordan 5 was released in February 1990, designed by Tinker Hatfield. This model took it's inspiration from the Air Jordan 4, and their most distinctive feature is its reflective tongue and clear rubber soles. The soles gave the shoe a whole new and unique look. This model also features a base top with lace locks, making strapping them on very easy. The lacelock feature was partly inspired by the Air Jordan Spiz'ikes.

A kick you can relax in, the shape is perfect and the size fits me like a glove. I like the color combinations. Although the shoe looks a bit heavy I was quite surprise at the quality fabrics, the thick soles and the lightweight.

These kicks are ill AND mad comfy. My beef is that the box was extremely beat up, the authenticity card was damaged, and shipping took about 2 weeks exactly. Otherwise not bad.
